Borscht

Here is a basic borscht recipe:

  • 1 or 2 Small beets
  • ~1 Quart of water
  • Sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Sour cream (optional)

Grate the two beets in the food processor, and throw them in a pot with the water and seasonings. Simmer for a while, or at least until the beets are cooked. Stretch the recipe by adding more water. Serve with a dollop of sour cream.

Watch out for splashes!
