Thinking about mushrooms

I have been thinking about mushrooms for a few months. I have always liked mushrooms, but for those of us with food allergies, ruling out mushrooms based on reactions from commercially produced mushrooms might be needlessly restrictive. Hunting mushrooms in the wild or growing them at home are options worth serious consideration due to the nutritional benefits alone.
